“Recognizing Human Need At All Stages Of Life”

Your gifts to the Bishop’s Appeal help to support the agencies and programs of Catholic Charities like Sunnyside Child Development Center.

Catholic Charities’ services include food pantries and soup kitchens, homeless shelters and supportive housing, domestic violence assistance programs, counseling and mental health assistance, support for adults and children with developmental disabilities, help for seniors and their caregivers, substance abuse prevention, chronic disease management, and many other services. What guides us in our work is to recognize Christ in the poor, the downtrodden, those who are suffering, people in our midst who are in need of hope and assistance. We seek to encounter those in need where they are, and to walk with them.

Through the financial support of generous donors to Catholic Charities and to the Bishop’s Appeal, we are able to serve those who turn to us with compassionate assistance and respect for the dignity of each person in need of our services.
